Frank has recently been developing a new body of work. It involves freehand spray painting and stencilling colour, and then screen printing detail on top. The detail is taken from a photograph of one of Franks murals, you can make out the texture of the wall in the ship. This combined with freehand spray paint marks provides a contrast of textures that really make these works pop. All the colour on this artwork is hand painted, the black is hand printed by the artist. This print is one of only 8 artist proofs, of those 8 only 2 feature spray paint marks that leap out from the boarder of the work.
